Blockwise

Terms of use

The rules for using Blockwise. By signing in, you agree to them.

Who we are

Blockwise is run by Blockwise Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17536881, registered office Codsall Community Hub, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, Wolverhampton, WV8 1PX (“we”). Your employer, or the managing agent you work with, has a separate agreement with us; where it differs from these terms, that agreement wins.

Your account

  • Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your password, codes or sign-in link with anyone.
  • Use two-step sign-in where your organisation asks for it.
  • Tell your administrator straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Your administrator can change or remove your access at any time.

Using the service properly

You must not:

  • look at, copy or share people’s details except as your work needs;
  • try to reach data or parts of the service you haven’t been given access to;
  • test, probe or overload the service, or get round its security checks;
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything containing malicious code; or
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the software.

Every action in the service is recorded in your organisation’s activity log.

AI features

Some features use AI to read documents, answer questions, draft replies or read meter photos. AI can be wrong. Its answers are marked as AI-generated, and you should check anything you rely on, especially before sending it to someone or acting on it. Nothing the service produces is legal or financial advice.

Your organisation’s data

The documents and details your organisation puts into Blockwise belong to it. We handle them only to run the service, as our agreement with your organisation and our privacy notice describe. The software itself, and everything in it that isn’t your organisation’s, belongs to us.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Blockwise running, secure and backed up, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance. We may improve or change features over time, and update these terms; the date below shows when they last changed.

Responsibility

Our responsibility to your organisation is set out in our agreement with it. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: privacy@blockwiseapp.co.uk.
